Stainless Steel Pipe/Titanium Pipe Production Line

General Descriptions

The production line integrates Advance-Tech's welding technology and experiences for many years, and uses high precise forming dies specially designed for high rebound materials and TIG butt welding technology. The line is used to produce butt welded titanium pipe and high precise stainless steel pipe whose diameters are Φ 16~70mm and thickness are 0.4~1mm. The titanium pipe and stainless steel pipe are mainly used in cooling pipe of thermal converter in the industries of electric power station, nuclear reaction, nuclear power plant, etc., and other corrosive media transportation pipe. The production line consists of sections of uncoiling, strip jointing, forming, welding and cutting. The line has the characteristics of high automation, easy to operate, stable production, producing pipes of different dimensions through changing different dies.
The line was successfully developed in 1995, and used in cooing pipe of nuclear power plant in a Beijing institute.
The standards are GB/T 3624-1995 for titanium pipe, GB/T12771-2000 for stainless steel pipe.

Application scopes of the pipe

The thin wall stainless steel pipe is mainly used in transportation of fuids in the industries of drinking water, petrochemical industry, paper making, nuclear power, food, beverage, medical, etc.
The titanium pipe is mainly used in cooling pipe of thermal converter in the industries of electric power station, nuclear reaction, nuclear power station and chemical, etc, and transportation of corrosive media.

Production Line Characteristics

1. Precise TIG butt welding, automatic welding gun changing, alternately welding;
2. Use famous brand welder with stable electrical arc, smooth welding seam;
3. Automatically following welding seam with detecting defects of welding seam automatically and recording the defects;
4. Using Advance-Tech's patent die design and machining technology, the key rolls are made of high-quality die steel with precise dimension and good quality surface.
5. Computer control for specified lengths cutting with precise cutting dimension, smooth cutting edge without burr.
6. PLC control system to control the whole line with stable performance, easy to operate and maintain.
